Fascinating setup, and I throughly enjoyed the mystery and what actually happened (which I didn't guess at all, I was completely baffled).
Unfortunately, the two main characters of the series (HM and Masters) irritated me a great deal when they were together. Ugh! The mystery was fascinating, watching those two work it out was not. The "main" character of this book and the woman involved in the murder (lived in the house) were also irritating to watch. Geesh...I wish he'd stick to mystery and not try his hand at romance.
I loved the mystery, but the characters drove me nuts. I might try another one of these books.
