I think this was the first Koontz book I ever read; while I was living alone for the first time, in a neighborhood my parents' wished I hadn't have found..... I was scared out of my wits! Really good - have thought about this book for many years now!
This book rocketed Koontz to fame as a writer. it is a tiht psychologicial thriller which serves chills up the spone.
