I've put off reading any books in this series, figured one of my favorite authors had gone the way of many romance writers - make the money then go on to write what they wanted to(murder mystery, et al)... but this book pleasantly surprised me. Very good story plot, laid out well, characters who came alive...all the good things that make you Not want to put it down, then when its done, immediately reach for the NEXT one!
