Loved this book. Now I have to read the other two in the series. First book by Toni Blake and will not be my last. I related to all the characters. We all preceived ideas in our head of how people are by the way that they or we look. Most times those notions are wrong. Read the book, you will enjoy it.

After losing her job because of an illness, Tessa Sheridan has returned to her hometown and bought a small cottage in the woods. The only thing disturbing her serenity is the loud roar of motorcycles at her neighbors house. But when she meets the bad boy next door who everyone tells her is trouble, Tessa is very intrigued. Lucky Romo was a rebel with a dark past. Getting close to Tessa was not what he planned. But the intense attraction between them was something that could not be denied.
I liked this book better than the previous book in the series. Lucky Romo was an interesting tortured hero. He was trying to live down his past and keep his family safe by staying far away from them. He always worried that his build and tattoos would scare people. I wish there was a picture of him in the book because I have a hard time imagining it. My rating: 4.5 Stars.

I generally love Toni Blake's books, but when the heroine wanted the hero to be a wimp instead of a guy (he's definitely a guy's guy up til then) I stopped liking her. It felt too much like the author had to manufacture a reason to pull the couple a part, so it didn't work for me. Not the author's best work.
Book three in the Destiny series. Lucky Romo is a tattooed biker with a dangerous past. Tessa Sheridan is an interior decorator who has missed out on life the last few years due to illness. They seem like an unlikely pair, but soon it becomes impossible to deny their attraction. I really liked the relationship between the two characters.
While this works as a stand alone novel, it will make more sense if you've read Sugarcreek, so that you know about the Romo family history.

I enjoyed this one. I like that the supporting characters from previous books are also in this one. I enjoyed the character development and there is enough going on to make this a good series. I'm wondering when Amy gets her book (just checked- book #5) since the next is Sue Ann's (hints of husband "working late," gee I wonder what that is code for?!)
Toni Blake has done it again. Her books just keep getting better. This is my new favorite of all her books so far and I have read them all! I fell in love with the characters andcould not put it down.
Wow! A new author for me..wish I had known this was the 3rd in the series, though. An excellent romance, hot bad boy and a very interesting plot!This plot kept me reading this book in one day because of its twists and turns it kept me intrigued..looking for more from this author.
