Probably my favorite by Pike ... Perhaps because it was one of the first of his I read, but I remember enjoying it immensely at age 13. It has a good twist at the end.

Roxanne and Pepper are a teenage couple with problems. They leave town for a day to try and get rid of them. Somehow they only succeed in making them worse. When they return back to their town they find it empty, they begin calling outside of town and find no one is left the whole world seems empty. But they soon discover all is not as it appears....
