Have you met Whiskey Mattimoe? This is her 6th book in the series. Whiskey is a realtor in the small tourist town of Magnet Springs. Whiskey is better known around town as the caretaker of her late husbands Afghan Hound, Abra. Whiskey is 6 months pregnant by her first husband Jeb. Jeb has brought another girl home who Abra hates. When Chester asks Whiskey for help, she cannot turn down her friend. Solving this murder while protecting her unborn child she will need to proceed with caution and watch out for the PTO members.
I have enjoyed all of the books in the Whiskey Mattimoe series. I think this is one of my faves. All the colorful characters of Magnet Springs and then some made appearances. I was guessing till the end and did not figure it out till just about Whiskey did. Love it when a book keeps a secret.
