Someone gave me this book late in my first pregnancy, so I didn't read it as thoroughly as others I had read. What I have read, and from glancing through the first parts, it is a concise, informative review about pregnancy, labor and delivery. It has some nice areas to enter information about your pregnancy, such as notes about your appointments & your condition at each, daily diet tallies, etc. Certain sections containing lots of information are alphabetized according to topic (e.g., alternative birth settings, induced labor, kick count, twins), which is nice as a reference when you just want to look things up, as I did occasionally. Also, there is a nice brief section on exercises you can do to alleviate certain conditions of pregnancy, which I used.
