I ordered this book after reading "Because of Low", which I highly recommend reading before this book. I saw something in Cage that I think a lot of readers saw in "Low" and wanted him to get his happy ending. I was also curious about what type of woman it would be, and loved the character of Eva. I don't want to give away too much of the story because it isn't that long ( and the basic premise has been listed). But I did want to mention a couple things that might not be everyone's "cup of tea" but think its worth overlooking. The book has quite a bit of missing (or misplaced) punctuation, especially commas. I also really think you need to read "Low" first because it adds so much to Cage's background and who he was and why. That's one thing I think was lacking in Cage's development for this as a standalone.

The one thing I will say that I absolutely love about the two books by this author, is that the end always has something extra.they are literally PERFECT endings. It's not just...everything is resolved and happily ever after. There's always that next glimpse and I think that is lacking in a lot of books I've read.

Definitely a keeper!
