an OK read, not one of her best. I did manage to finish it but skimmed large areas.
I thought this book was very good. A bit steamy in the romance parts but nothing x-rated. Very well written. Even though it's a historical piece set in the 1830's, Laurens does a wonderful job of keeping you interested. The writing is modern so it's not a hard read. The story flows well and the characters are wonderfully written.
Love Stephaine Laure stories and have been following all of the cynster stories and loved this one too.
