Light-hearted fare. The dog alone is worth the read.

Although I'm not a fan of romance novels, I enjoyed this one involving a missing will. Aunt Maudie has hidden the will and it is up to Callie to find it if she wants to save the childhood home where she felt loved and safe. Dropped off by her often married mother, it is the only home that Callie ever had. Her disorganization coupled with the orderly mind of her stepbrother lead to romance while solving the mystery.

A bit to "mushy" for me but sometimes a change of pace is good. A quick read and all in all, not a bad read.
