I read this book years ago and it was so good I still remember it. This was my first book by this author and my first time travel and I've been hooked ever since -- both by the author and the genre!
This is one of Kristin Hannah's first books. It is quite different from the ones I've read so far in that it is a Western type book, but still has the same qualities as her later books. I love all of her books.
read this last night in one sitting, started off where I was getting turned off by the heroine, , actually I didn't like her the whole first half of the book...second half the angst and love between them is very touching, I teared up so the book redeemed itself..ended well and I forgave her for being a female jerk. liked the ending her book "once in every life" is one of my FAVORITE books of all time, this one dosent come close.
Good time-travel.
The writing is great and it draws you in but the dialogue and scenery is repetitive. By 150 pages in I started skipping paragraphs and just reading highlights.
A sweet love story with a time travel bend. Willingly suspend disbelief and you will enjoy this novel!
A different book for Kristen Hannah - not one of her best - I could figure out what was going to happen at the end
Kidnapped by a character, in the very novel she is writing, Alaina is catapulted back into the days of the old west...where love awaits...but what of her daughter, now 100 years in her future...
An earlier Kristin Hannah romance.
Alaina Costanza, a romance writer, finds herself plunged back in time to the wild, Western world of her newest novel.
Time travel, love, mystery. Alaina is not afraid, going back in time, she wrote the story, until she finds out it is all too real. Then to figure out how to get home to the future. Can lightning strike twice?
This is a western time travel book.

Yet Alaina and Killian will discover a love too magnificent to last a single lifetime. But for the sake of Alaina's child, they must risk it all and fight for a future that depends on lightening striking....twice.
