This not only a fun and interesting book for adults but a great one for kids too. Not all the questions are something they would be interested in but a lot are. I think it would be fun to read a question at the dinner table each night with the family and let them guess the answer then read it. Not only would it be a bonding time but also everyone would learn something new!

Humorous book--Feldman shows that there ARE answers to just about every question that has faffled the human race in its relentless ssearch for knowledge and self-improvement. Other questions in this book are: Why are there no A or B sized batteries? Why don't birds tip over sleeping on a phone line? Why do some ice cubes come out clear and some come out cloudy?

To tell you the truth, I never wondered about Donald Duck's siblings (he does have nephews, remember) or why bagels have holes.
