Another great installment in the Legion of the Damned series. Really like the depiction of the aliens, as well as the "heroes" and the action.

This is book 8 of the Legion of the Damned series. Highly entertaining military science fiction. As usual, Dietz packs this story with plenty of political intrigue, action and heroic sacrifices.

In this installment, the Ramanthian War continues and the bugs have sacked earth and are attempting to occupy it. Many familiar characters return. The book ends on a grim note with plenty of story elements left hanging for the next installment.

This series never disappoints when you want to read for the sake of simple entertainment. This genre is my guilty pleasure.
