Chatterly Heights is celebrating its 250 year anniversary, and the town is going all out....the committee is headed by Mayor Karen Evanson,, and she is ambitious and demanding....Paine Chatterly,has returned to his hometown and has reclaimed Chatterly Mansion....when he is found dead in his bath, there is no shortage of suspects....add to the mystery, is the rumored existence of a very valuable collection of antique cookie cutters.....supposedly hidden somewhere in the mansion....is this why Paine was killed?.....this was not my favorite book of the series....IMO it fell a bit flat...I hope the next book picks up....
