A really funny book. Kinda reminds you of Die Hard when Bruce Willis calls 911 and the lady tells him this line is for emergencies only and he says NO I WANTED TO ORDER A PIZZA YOU *((*$&!!! This book is very very funny, and some things should not be read around children. If you have anyone in dispatching, law enforcement, or fire fighters, or EMTs this book will make them laugh and recall their own stupid calls of their own!

This was an entertaining book, I read it in the car on a long trip. The end changes gears and provides serious commentary about the 911 system, about the bomb explosion at the Atlanta Olympics. Very interesting. The review above seems to be describing a different book from what I read.

Very funny book. I cannot believe people really call 911 with these reasons! You have to read this book! Gregory is a wonderful author!

This is one funny book. If anyone needs to know why our 911 operators 'goof up' or seem agitated when a person calls for help....just read this little book. You will fell like sending all 911 operators a sympathy card and have a deeper appreciation for both their calm when answering and for keeping the job longer than 24 hours!

This is a very funny book. I read a couple of the calls out loud to friends. They cracked up laughing. This is a book for anyone who wants a good laugh.

Absolutely horrible. The book repeats itself and the one liners are the most stupid I've ever heard.

Drolll...but then again, I was a 911 Dispatch Supervisor in NYC for 9 years....so I've heard many of these and better!

A funny book of true 911 calls.

Leland Gregory, coauthor of AMERICA'S DUMBEST CRIMINALS, follows up that wacky best-seller with this collection of weird and hilarious calls made to 911 emergency services all over the country. These people need help--but not 911 help!

Hilarious book

This was such a quick read I had it finished in about an hour.
It should have been titled "America's Dumbest 911 Callers" instead. I was shaking my head pitying the 911 operaters whose precious and valuable time is taken up by idiots such as these. There were really only 2 stories (well stories is stretching it, most of these only fill about a quarter of a page). One was the two guys who both shot themselves with the same gun, one in the groin area, the other in the ass,he actually had something funny to say about that one, I had to read it three times and it had me in stitches each time. But then again maybe I was just hysterical cause I was stupid enough to read this crap. Guess there's worst ways to waste an hour. Or is there?

Now, we don't always know where these take place, but it appears that most of these happened in states that voted for Trump. Pretty funny stories, sometimes kind of sad stories.
