Connor Reilly had laughed at his brother for being the first triplet to lose the "no sex for ninety days" bet. Though there were two long, tempting months ahead for him, Connor was determined to go the distance. Because not only was he a marine; he was a Reilly....

For two years, Connor had been coming to Emma Jacobsen's shop, and she'd listened to him talk about this woman and that one. She'd thought their friendship was special. Until he admitted how "safe" and "comfortable" he felt around her. Well, war declared! She was going to show her "pal" just how much of a threat she could be to his winning the bet!

The classic case of the buddy syndrome. She's his buddy and gets insulted because he tells her he's comfortable with her. So she goes out of her way to make him as "uncomfortable" as possible.

Book 2 in the Three-Way Wager Trilogy

This is Connor Reilly's story and his turn to take a crack at the wager/challenge set forth by the Reilly triplets' priest brother Liam. No sex for ninety days.

So Connor thinks he will be safe under the watchful eyes of the neighborhood mechanic who has been his friend for two years and he has never thought of her as a girl. So no problem, right? WRONG!!!!!

This book is funny, spirited, cute, zany and, at the same time, sad. For all those tomboys who know who they are and don't need a dress to be a woman!!!!!!

Am I the only one who thinks no sex for 90 days shouldn't be that much of a stretch? It seems these guys just have a series of one-night stands.
Once I got over the fact that three adult men seemed to have the hormonal drive of eighteen year old sex addicts(I just changed the time in my mind from 3 months to six months-- no make that a year. A guy would have the right to be antsy after five or six months with no sex), I rather liked the series.

In this one, Connor Reilly can't believe that his brother, Brian, caved so readily. He visits his good pal, Emma Jacobsen, telling her that she is the only "safe" female he knows. Hmmph! Emma tired of being the welcome mat that Connor walks on, decides that she will pull no punches to prove how desireable she is-- even to Connor and regardless of the bet.
