I'm actually embarrassed that I found this book so interesting since it is so gruesome, but I did. It is hard to believe that humanity could turn its imagination to such uses.

Still, Mr. Abbott has done excellent research and presents the different horrors with a sense of humor that Hitchcock would enjoy. Give it a try. Maybe you can be fascinated and embarrassed, too.
