This is a great book for parents of traditional school children to make sure they are learning what they should be in their school environment. As a home schooler, I didn't find this book as helpful as I hoped. It's definitely geared toward traditionally-schooled children and their families.
Note: There are some parts in the series that are definitely from an evolutionist point-of-view. This may or may not have an impact on your decision to use this book.

The book has a section for each chapter. In each it has samples of problems or some reading for the kids.

the book is very precise.i appreciated how it was seperated into seperate categories, and gaiven examples, titles of more follow up books not too lengthy of a book easy to read and follow great for someone who feels more secure with homeschooling given a good guide to follow four stars
