The author explains flirting as just being nice to everyone. Well that's how I took it. I felt it was too vague in some areas. I don't understand the difference between just being nice, and when you're flirting, when applying her method. I've always thought of flirting as romantic, but she says you can do it socially....to advance yourself in whatever you wish to do. I think if I did many of these things, I would feel like I was just being fake. So in essence, flirting = just being fake nice to people to get what you want? Ugh. I don't know if that is such a good idea.

I tried one tactic on my boyfriend. The batting of the eyelashes. When I was young, I did this, naturally. I didn't even know that it was a tactic back then. I tried it, I got a pretty big smile out of him, but he didn't fall to my knees like a worshiping puppy dog.

Her romantic flirting ideas seem like a "how to land a man" book She basically says to be extremely old fashioned. Reel him in with looks (& your perfume), sweet words, ask about him, and then retreat and wait. Cat and mouse. To be his prey. Let him hunt you. Interesting, no really. It sounds like a game. It might be fun if you're single, but who has time for games? I don't know, maybe it works if you're trying to land the guy you want. Luckily, I am in a relationship and don't have to play that game right now.

I supposed we all could be a little nicer in the world, even if it's fake. ? This is a fun book, worth the entertainment value. Just don't take it too literally.
