Originally part of the Sneetches and other stories, this story is really great on its own as well. A nameless narrator is scared of a pair of green pants with nobody inside them, and goes to lengths to avoid seeing these pants walking around with nobody inside them. Funny ending, and a good lesson about confronting your fears.
For all of you out there afraid of pants. One of the better Seuss stories for reading to all grade levels.
Wonderfully illustrated and great rhyming! Wonderful for the beginner and intermediate reader!
What an absolutely adorable book! Those poor scaredy pants, I'm glad they found a friend. Everyone needs a friend, even spooky pale green pants with nobody inside 'em. I highly recommend this book, another great Dr. Suess classic! Thumbs up!
