This collection of essays is classiclly Kohn......thoughtful, engaging and centered. I had read of it several times and found it to be just as it was presented. If a areader wants thoughtful reading on what the business community has inflicted upon public educaion, this book will be enlightening.

I'm not even going to attempt to write an intelligent review.

It's fantastic. If you have even the slightest interest in education, you absolutely must read it.

I'm still kicking myself for sending it out. I may just buy another copy to keep.
