  "What is Love?"
By- Lucas Spatuzza

What is love?
To me, it is a reverse psychology of sorts,
the connotation remains, yet so sweet,
it isn't that death is real love-
but Love itself is death in a convincing mask.
This new blossom of "love" is all means of a lie.
To say to a girl, "I love you".
You merely expect a "Love you, too".
The only honest response is "for how long..."
...for how long do you wish to love?

When you juxtiplate love, it ends, left in a depression, your life shambles-time to call quits.
when you are in debt of sadness,
hardships, or self-torment, the good times are to get you out of it.
but to look back on them, you only wish you were there again-at that thin line.

the only analgesic and resort is death,
death is a good angel,
and will make your pain go away,
there is no pain when you are gone but for the life you left behind,
and that is just payback for what had happened.
