This one was certainly my favorite of the four. It was funny throughout! Even if the hero wasn't my ideal character it was nice to see him flounder through the story. Nice twist on a commonly used plot! I know I laughed out loud at least a dozen times! Definitely a light hearted romp!!

I loved this book. I really enjoyed the characters... they made me laugh and they made me cry. Great read... couldn't stop til it was done. I really liked that the heroine knew who she wanted and went after him... enlisting help along the way.
The only thing that is nagging me about the book is the hidden story of Lady Felicity's parents and Nigel's dad. Were they in an earlier book??

Second in the Last Man Standing series. It is fun and light read. I loved it.

I read the first and then this book of the series ansd I don't think I'll read any others. They just weren't for me. I prefer it when the characters don't immediately jump in the sack together (book 1) and don't fall in love early on in the book (book2, well, the female character)

This is very good book is the 2nd in the series, you do not need to read the first one to read this one. This author is one of my favorites!

Number 2 (I think) in the series. Somehow, I managed to read the rest and skip over this one. But I am glad I realized it and came back to it. It was a really greay read. The personalities of each character came through and were truly endearing.
The interaction and dialogue between the h/h was fantastic. The story line was funny and entertaining. The ending was wonderful.
Definate a recommened read. And even though it is from the middle of the series, the other characters do not make a huge appearance in this so it is fine as a stand alone - or a read out of order.

Really enjoyed reading! It is a romance but I found it on the funny side. Great story, the story is put together nicely, and flows in a timely fashion.
This light-hearted romance details the adventures of Lady Felicity and Lord Nigel--star-crossed lovers, it seems. They met one night when he was escaping from an irate husband, and just happened to climb over her balcony. She decided that she wanted him for a husband, and the story proceeds from there. Enjoy! I did.
the second book in this series of four men who have wagered one shilling apiece and a bottle of cognac that will go to the last unmarried man standing... the story of Nigel and Felicity. I loved this book.
I enjoyed this one better then the first of the series. The characters were better and the story line was more enjoyable.
A delightful read featuring delightful characters. Flew through the story.
funny and romantic

I enjoyed this book. Several witty, laugh out loud, moments.
Lady Fellicity Melville is twenty three. This will be her fifth season...if you don't count last year which she spent on tour. She needs to find a husband before they consider her a spinster. Watching the stars one night from her balcony she is witness to Nigel Cavendish's rapid escape from her neighbors house. From Lady Pomfreys bedroom...nearly caught by Lord Pomfrey. He escapes by climbing over the wall into Felicity's yard. He can't see the way out of her yard. Lady Felicity helps him escape and decides she really needs to know who this rake is. He is deadly against marriage...that's who he is. They meet, each knowing the other knows who they are...the strangers in the night. She decides he is just the sort of husband she wants. One that will never be dull or boring. Now, can she convince him that marriage is for him?
Nick Cavendish knows he'll marry one day, but hopefully that day is many years -- and many women -- in the future! From the moment Lady Felicity Melville spies the adventerous scoundrel climbing from the neighbor's window -- with the comely conquest's husband in hot pursuit -- she knows Nigel is the answer to her prayers....with a little reformation, of course!
Good book. Only the second book I've read by this author.
First time reading this Author-Loved it!!! Made me laugh and a different read from the typical romance novel.
