Not my cup of tea--it is as though to be a modern young woman today you have to be constantly either talking about sex, thinking about sex, or actually having it. Where's the plot in that?
very cute book...quick read!
A light read about a San Francisco 20-something who struggles to find love and a career she can stomach in the dot com era.
This book had a few laughs and was a quick read.
Lighthearted, entertaining read!
loved it! very funny!
Ashley Stockingdale, 31, has a respectable (read: boring) job in Silicon Valley as a patent attorney. It's the kind of life that causes her mother to ask repeatedly, "Now what exactly do you do there, dear?"
So Ashley resolves to go for it! If only she knew what "it" she's going for.
Ultimately, Ashley finds that what a girl wants and what a girl needs aren't always the same thing. Join Ashley for the first of two lighthearted books about a single-girl's bumbling but loveable quest for meaning.
