This book reminded me of the choose your own adventure books from the 80s. But it wasn't as good. The choices weren't that great, they kept reminding you that this decision will change everything over and over, and the story was just mainly about her trying to be popular and getting a boyfriend. Kinda boring really.

Several alternate endings. This would be a great book for a parent to read to find out what goes on in school and what could happen with/to their teen.

I found this book a little boring, and when you made your decisions it left a lot of things unsaid. Over all, it was just an alright book.

Getting my daughter to read has always been a challenge. Not with these books! She read this book in two days! This from a girl who always hated to read. She loved that she could decide the story for herself. She didn't like the ending she chose but said that her choices took her there. Now she can read it again and change the story if she chooses. She gave this book a two thumbs up and has already started the second and asked for the third.

WHAT IF...EVERYONE KNEW YOUR NAME is an interesting idea. It's a lot like those Choose Your Own Adventure books you read as a kid. The story is about Haley, a fairly average fifteen-year-old girl who has just moved to suburban New Jersey and is starting at her first public high school. She starts out average, so that the reader can pretty much choose everything that happens to her as the story goes on.
You make every little decision for her, even the ones that seem really minor, like riding the bus to school or getting a ride from her father. You decide who she wants to be friends with and what crowd she wants to be a part of. You decide everything about her.
While an interesting idea, and fairly well-written, this book isn't for everyone. If you're all about finding out what will happen, this book might not be for you, because you decide what happens. It's a cool concept, though, and a fun read, especially since you can read it more than once, with a different story and outcome. The characters aren't particularly three-dimensional, but I guess they have to be simple enough so that it is believable that they would make any one of the very different choices you choose from. This book is fun, but not a must-read.

I had so much fun reading this book and didn't want to put it down. I was sad when I finished the book. It is the story of a plain high school girl trying to fit it, you make the choices for her... will she be popular with problems... or nerdy with great friends? Any nerd in high school should read this book to make them appreciate not being popular. I highly recomend.
