I would not recommend this book to anyone. The author claims that some conditions cannot be changed when, in some cases, people have made full recoveries from said conditions and are now leading a normal life. He also claims that losing weight can potentially ruin your health forever and that sometimes being fat cannot be changed.

And a note for Christian readers: This author is clearly a secular humanist and does not have good things to say about Christianity. Just a warning.
