One of the best and biblically sound books I have seen on training a child. Puts the responsibilty where it should be with the parents and goes right to the point. Very good

I have thoroughly enjoyed this perspective on child training, hearing Fugate's perspective of the Word of God in respect to training them. There are always things to take and some to leave, but this was great to get key principles to implement in child training.
I was expectantly waiting to be able to read this book, when it arrived my spirit felt like it plummeted as I looked within its pages. I whole heartidly agree with spanking as a form of correction, but a whole book to espouse the proper way to inflict that punishment is disheartening. I need applicable ways to train my child regularly and then an applicable grace based method to use consistantly when spanking is necessary.

With this guide, you can not go wrong. I was searching for what God was saying which is hard to find specifics in the Bible. This book pulls them out, explains them, illustrates them and holds us accountable as parents. As it should be.
