Volume two of the Matthews' outstanding overview of the Western Esoteric tradition. Picking up where the first volume left off, this one focuses on the hermetic and alchemical aspects of the tradition. Again they provide interesting information and many workable exercises for experiencing the tradition first-hand. There is enough material in these two volumes for several years of work, in the hands of an attentive student. Highly recommended!
