This is the best type of erotica! Real people, wonderful story about building a relationship to include a whole cast of characters that you are interested in(and want to see in later stories!) and some really hot sex!

I didn't know quite what to make of this book. It's not an urban fantasy, not cool and clever enough. It's not erotica, not really erotic enough. It's kind of a love story, but there is an awful lot of backstory and kids involved. It actually felt like she had written 300 pages before hand that had been edited out, and bits shoved back in to make this story make sense. I haven't read a love story with so much plot in a long time. It felt a bit like a Patricia Briggs novel, but not as well written.

The blurb gives the wrong picture too - with a an control freak ex and two teenage kids, Diana has her own problems and no need to borrow anyone else's troubles. She's an Empath though, and the young wolven pack that lands in her lap is dfficult to ignore or dissuade from their determination to adopt her as den mother.

But her control freak husband gets about 2 pages, so why is he in the blurb and her relationship with her son doesn't seem real to me. She's an untrained Empath and then all of sudden does very sophisticated magic. The twin boys are Brandon and Bradley - which are far too easy to confuse. It felt badly edited, like a self published novel.
What I'm trying to say, is that there is a very good book trying to get out of this one, but it didn't quite make it. I'm giving it 2.5 stars because at least the author (and could Buffi BeCraft-Woodall be a real name? and if not, then why make it up, another oddity) is trying something a bit different, but she doesn't land in any fixed genre, and it wasn't especially well written. I may read another of her books, but I'm not running to amazon to get her back order.

Erotic paranormal romance from New Concepts Publishing. Adam Weiss is the Alpha of a small pack of teenage Wolven boys. He's trying to run his business, lead the Pack, and maintain his territory. Then he meets Diana Ridley, the mother of one of his boys' friends. Diana is the divorced mother of two teenagers herself, and a psychic. This is an action packed, really sweet love story. You come to really care about the characters. Love the book, and will definately read the sequel: PMSing.

Her control freak husband gets about 2 pages, and her relationship with her son was barely there.
She's an untrained Empath and then all of sudden does very sophisticated magic.
The twin boys are Brandon and Bradley - which are far too easy to confuse.

There were three aspects that I had the hardest time getting over.
(1) There was so much emotional drama.
(2) Too much violence. As in the boys were abused by their father, to make them all damaged, the younger twin kept in a basement as a toy for years. Diana had been near-raped and eaten at least once. Near-Died 2x. Just too much of the violent-rape theem for my taste.
(3) If you have to repeat over and over again that a particular action is not sexual or perverted, it begins to sound like "the lady doth protest too much, methinks."

There were quite few gramar issues, common with this type of book. Generally I do not mind but I did take notice.

All in all the storry was well written, and was cohearant. There is minimal sexual content, I think 2 sceenes. I cant really judge as I generally skip it.

Not quite erotica despite the warning on the cover. Not quite urban fantasy either. Writing is a little rough and story gets a little bumpy. It feels like there should have been a previous book to introduce these characters. 2.5 stars

Really liked the story line and liked everything about the book. I'm looking forward to seeing these characters in future books. Adam is someone you can relate and and actually, so is Diane. I like the way the boys stick together and stand up for each other - like family should.
