This is the book that finally convinced me to try freelance writing. Even though it's finally in a 2nd edition, and Borrowman's added more information about Internet-based marketing, this edition of the book has a lot of practical advice and useful information. Like most self-help books, it's a little optimistic in terms of the time it will take and the ease with which "average" people can become successful (Borrowman was an experienced salesman when he started out, with a network of contacts and well-honed sales skills), it's a highly motivating and useful guide to the business.
