The author's voice was funny. She was self-mocking, but it wasn't too much. She actually has some real illnesses, and it was interesting to see how her hypochondria interfered with her ability to figure out how to get real health care.

This book started out great - it appeared to be hilariously funny. However, toward the middle, it started to drag and became outright boring. Then it picked back up and was funny again. Almost didn't finish it, but finally did. It was OK, but I wouldn't read it again. D.
