This is an awesome book, it catches you right at the get-go and doesn't let up until the end...which you hope in between doesn't come too soon. It's a bout being down on your luck and circumstances making it even harder then need be. There's a little bit of everything, handsome men, beautiful woman, loose woman, fuddy-duddy church ladies, crazy parks full of angels, second sight, and gruff cops with broken hearts and simple minded people who face disabilities caused by recklessness but makes them loveable and smarter then others give them credit for...in a nut shell a small town called Last Chance where everybody at least gets one! Loved it and hated to put it down!
