I had expectations of getting a few chuckles out of this book, at the very least a cheap thrillNada! The observations are not so much of weird things people say, but of dumb things people say. And who has time for that? Some examples:
Customer: You do have a lot of books, dont you?
Bookseller: Well, it is a bookshop
Customer: Its a beautiful shop you have here
Bookseller: Oh, thank you.
Customer: Its a shame that you filled it with all these ghastly books
Customer: Where in the book does it tell you how many pages there are?...
