I couldn't get into this one. The chapters alternate between the main story and excerpts from Frances' novel, which was supposedly fantastic enough to inspire a following of "Kitty cultists"... I did not find the excerpts entertaining, and felt they did nothing to add to the story.

The main story plodded along slowly. The characters of Meg and Frances were annoying, and the ending was over the top and contrived.

2 stars because I did finish it.
