"Weekend in Paris" is told in the vein of the Shopaholic series. A lot happens to Molly Clearwater in the space of 48 hours as she quits her job and takes an unexpected trip to Paris. I was breathless at the end of the book as so much had been crammed into Molly's short weekend - a fun, romantic story.

I borrowed this from my daughter and wasn't disappointed..."Week-end In Paris" is a great summer book. Fun and light hearted. But then a book about Europe and Love, what could be better?

This book is full of twists and turns. The main character starts out as an insecure person and in the end through situations ends up confident and more content with her life. I recommend this book to anyone who loves Europe as there is name dropping of many famous attractions. This book is also for those who enjoy and easy to read books with light romance and life situations. I finished this book in 2 days as it was hard for me to put it down. I am now starting "A Summer in the City" which hopefully will be just a good.

Molly finds that her weekend away from her troubles is turning into a voyage of adventure, passion and self-discovery that will change her life forever. A zinger of a book, sparkling with wit, full of twists, and utterly romantic. I loved it!!

This is hands down one of the most fun books about what a girl can do to feel better after getting a mean move from her boss. You steal a wonderful weekend in Paris & all sorts of adventures pile one on top of the other. You don't even care when one of your g.f.'s takes your old job, moves in on a surly boss because Paris offers the most wonderful opportunities that it's all ancient history & a new beginning beckons. This book entertained me from cover to cover, told me to go out & take a few chances of my own - try it, it pays off. Zooming through Paris on the back of a motorbike at dawn to watch the sunrise near Notre Dame, dancing on a party boat floating down the Seine. Shopping w/French g.f.'s guidance in tiny boutiques, learning to dress for fun & laughing for the life of it. R. S. wrote a fabulous little "how to do Paris" book & I'll look for other work cause she does know some wonderful secrets to share - among them? Redheads do very well in red dresses, sipping wine on a Paris balcony.
Yeah, it works so well.

A fun, if slightly predictable, read. A good, light summer book with a cute story, and a protagonist you'd like to be friends with. But I probably wouldn't have really enjoyed this book if I hadn't been to Paris -- I most of all enjoyed reading descriptions of the places I'd been, and of Paris in general.

Looking for something light, I picked this book off my shelf and sat down to read it. Right off the bat I was hooked. Because of the review by Meg Cabot on the front cover, I expected the story to be fairly fluffy. It was, however, unlike Cabot's books, and many others of the genre, I found this book to be refreshingly light on internal monologue trauma-drama. While yes, there was some, it was enough to give the character depth but not enough to exhaust the reader.

While the believability of the story is,of course, far fetched, anyone who has ever had a dream of spending a magical weekend in Paris would tell you "Hey, it could happen!" :)

All in all, this was a great read. Light, funny, sexy, and left me feeling good but not in sugar shock.

I liked this book, but I didn't love it. I had a hard time getting into it, but once I got through some of the book it got a lot better and I read it a lot faster. Overall, I am glad that I took the time to finish this book because sometimes when books start out slow it is hard for me to finish them.

A likable heroine, not quite enough fashion but what there is is breathtaking. Weekend in Paris is a very nice little book with justice for all and many smiles.
