This book was HYSTERICAL! So funny, from the opening scene right through to some really fabulous situations that I *wish* could be done to an out-of-control Mom. The characters sparkle, the dialogue is fast and funny, the main character so masterful with her emotions and so practiced in the sarcasm that has gotten her through the challenge of growing up with a famous mother. The supporting characters, too, are a riot -- especially the broken-hearted, feng-shui-obsessed bridesmaid Leah. I hear there's a movie version of this novel in the works and a spin-off novel for the Leah character and her own, delicious happy ending [I won't spoil it for you, but you're going to love, love, love it. This is great chick lit, bridal chick lit at its best, not the least bit predicable...a fun, fast read that's going to get rid of your wedding stress immediately. You won't be able to put it down. The best book I've read in a long time!
