My first thought before I read it was that sequels are never as good as the first. But I was wrong in this case!! I enjoyed this book just as much as the first!! It was romantic and just a "make you feel good" book! I love it and it's one of my favorites by Sparks!

This may be one of my favorite books by Nicholas Sparks. Great read.

This was the first book I read by Nicholas Sparks after seeing (and loving) the movie version of the Notebook. I've been hooked on his books ever since and don't think you can ever go wrong picking one up. I loved the chance this book gave to see what the results were of the beautiful love story in the Notebook in addition to its own moving story. I gave my mom a copy to read and would recommend this to any of my friends.

I was pleasantly surprised by this book. How real relationships get to where they are, not by huge issues, but by slowly fading over years. What a great reminder to tell those we love that we love them.

This book is a follow up to the The Notebook. I really enjoyed this book as well. There is a twist in the end that is kept a secret throughout the entire book till the end. I had trouble putting this book down and highly recommend reading it if you have already read The Notebook.

First lets eliminate all the misconceptions about this book. Some people claim that they do not like the book because Noah (from "The Notebook") made the sequel and Allie did not. They also dislike how Noah and Allie died together at the end of "The Notebook" yet Noah is alive in the sequel and Allie is not. Yes, Noah makes the sequel and yes Noah and Allie died together in "The Notebook," but Noah's presence in this book adds to the storyline and it's romantic charm. This book is about a married couple, Jane and Wilson Lewis. Throughout their nearly thirty years of marriage Wilson had worked as an Estate Lawyer, leaving Jane to raise and take care of the children basically alone. Throughout the years Jane begins to be even more neglected by Wilson, which ultimately leaves them to lead almost separate lives after their children have grown and left home. Wilson finally wakes up and realizes how badly he's been treating his wife and not showing how much he still cares and loves her. Will Wilson be able to win the love of his life Jane back? Find out in this romantic story about a man who finally finds himself and maybe even the love that looked to be lost.

What can I say? This was a great book. Nice ending. Nicholas Sparks really made the story come to life. Can't belive I finished it in one day.

One of the finest I've ever read. Sparks writes of people that are real and could be next door neighbors. By the time I finished this I was in tears...the good kind! It's a treasure and worth the read.

I think this is one of Nicholas Sparks best.

My favorite book from Nicholas Sparks.

Great love story. I enjoyed Wilson's transition from beginning to end. I figured out the ending before I got to it, but it was still kind of a sweet surprise because I wasn't sure if I was right until the last chapter. I cried my eyes out, too.
Someone else mentioned that Noah made this sequel to 'The Notebook' and Allie didn't, and it didn't seem right because they both supposedly died in 'The Notebook'. I didn't think they had both died as the last line read something about them drifting off to Heaven itself, but does that really mean they died? Hmmm...it did frustrate me while reading this book to think about that.

This was a great spinoff of The Notebook. I recommend it for anyone who was as moved by reading The Notebook as I was. This book continues to capture the emotion that began with Noah and Allie and passes it along through the generations of their family.

I wasn't going to give this one 5 stars, but the more I think about it the more I think it really deserved it. The reason I wasn't going to do 5 stars is that I honestly knew the ending close to the beginning of the book. However as the story progressed I began doubting myself and eventually gave up my original notion. But I was right. I think that the fact that the ending was so well covered up was a great writing feat.
I honestly didn't know what to expect from this one. I've never read Nicholas Sparks and I've not seen any of the movies based on his books. I think I have found another author to add to my list of favorites.
The story starts with a man who forgets his anniversary. While he decides that he needs to rekindle his romance with the woman he loves we get to see them fall in love all over again. Through the book there are flashbacks to when Wilson and Jane fell in love the first time. That is one of the great things about this book. We get to see them fall in love twice.
Not only is this a book that proves true love can always prevail but it shows that even when you think love is lost there is always hope. It may not be easy, but love never is.
The beautiful story is made even better with the beautiful landscapes describe in perfect detail. Sparks give enough information for you to get the whole picture without giving so much that the details become mundane. In my head all the landscapes were oil paintings, I think this is more from the cover art, but even without the cover art I would imagine my mind going to a beautiful oil painting anyway.
I got very engrossed in this book. Surprisingly I did not cry at the end, which is usually characteristic of me. But I was so moved by the story that I think crying would have distracted me a bit.
Overall I would say this was a great book. It had great character development and the story was more than captivating. I would recommend this to anyone that wants to be taken away into a great story.
Unfortunately I borrowed this book so I won't be listing it, but if you're teetering on whether or not to read it I would highly recommend it.

If you are married and the "new" has faded away, or lost some of its luster, this is a book that will renew your belief in the power of long term commitment and love!
If you have not read The Notebook read it first and then follow it up with The Wedding.
In previous reviews, the death of Noah has been mentioned. I cannot remember if Noah does die in the book version of The Notebook; he does seem to die in the film. In this book Noah is alive and is the father-in-law of the main character Wilson. Regardless, it seems to me that maybe the film version of the Notebook was changed by the screen writers, as frequently happens, because it makes no sense that Sparks would have a character die in one book only to show up in the sequel.
I think it is a testament to Sparks' ability as an author that so many of his books have gone on to become movies ... this fact definitely conveys the enduring quality of all of his stories, but read the books first as books are ALWAYS better than their movie counterparts.

Not a bad story but not as compelling a read as The Notebook
This was an awesome book. Surprisingly, it did not have a sad ending like most of Sparks's books. I highly recommend it for the true romantic.

One of my summer reads last year. Nicholas Sparks is a great storyteller, and his books never disappoint for a quick, easy read. This one is about a couple that has fallen out of, after raising a family, a husband that was a workaholic, and how he vows to give his wife the love she needs and deserves. It is a very sweet story.

This was one of my favorite Nicholas Sparks books. I have read several and all were good but this one was by far my favorite. I love romance novels, but I am all about the chase, the fact that he was chasing his wife made me love it that much more.

This book is along the lines of the other Nicholas Sparks books I've read. It's an easy, happy, little bit of tears story. One of my favorite parts is that the main characters are the children of the characters from The Notebook. Worth reading.

This is probably one of the best books I have read in a very long time. Very thought provoking in addressing the relationship of a man and woman AFTER the children are gone and its just the two of you again. Beautifully written, a surprise ending which makes you just smile!!!

I didn't realize The Notebook continued. This is a story about the adult life and family of one of their children. It took place later in Noah's life but told through the eyes of one of his son-in-laws. I enjoyed it so much and found myself in tears once again with one of Nicholas Sparks' books.
Another awesome Nicholas Sparks book!

The book to read after the Notebook.

Very romantic, easy to read book. Highly recommend
I loved this book. I am sad that they changed the ending of The Notebook. Therefore, never allowing this book to be made a movie. :( This book is so romantic. Even after only 10 years of marriage, this would be my favorite gift. LOVED IT!

Very good book, kind of sad but enjoyed it
Excellent book!! Must read!
A nice read ... especially if you've been married for a long time. You can definitely relate to what's going on here.
After thirty years, Wilson Lewis is forced to face a painful truth. His wife, Jane, has fallen out of love with him, and it is entirely his fault. Despite the shining example of his in-laws, Noah and Allie Calhound (The Notebook) and their fifty year love affair, Wilson is unable to express his true feelings. He has spent too much time at the office. Now his daughter is about to marry and his wife is thinking about leaving him. But if Wilson is sure of anythig, it's this: His love for Jane has grown over the years, and he will do anything he can to save their marriage.
Wonderful story, I love Nick Sparks
A great book about love that never ends. I read THE NOTEBOOK many years ago and it still remains my favorite....this is a sweet book that makes us all think about those we love.
I loved this book! It brought tears to my eyes it was so sweet.
I usually like Sparks, but this one was slow for me...
A book truely romantic, a love story of an older couple whos marriage is on the rocks. It's a sequel to The Notebook. I loved the book.
After 30 years Wilson must face the truth, his wife has fallen out of love with him. His in laws have a wonderful relationship (the book the Notebook). Wilson is unable to express his feeling tho. Now with his daughter about to get married his wife is considering leaving. Wilson is sure his love for his wife has done nothing but grown and now he will do anything to save his marriage. Using his memories of his in laws Wilson uses thier life together as a guide to get his wife to fall in love with him again.
If you loved The Notebook, you'll love The Wedding!
This book was a little slow at first then it picked up speed. Very touching story of a southern family.
What a great book. The notebook is nothing compared to the finally in this book! One of my favorite books!
This is a follow-up to " The Notebook ". It is a wonderful read & has a surprise ending. I could hardly put this book down ! If you like Nicholas Sparks books, then you must read this !
A follow up novel to "The Notebook" and centers around the marriage of one of Noahs and Allies daughters from the husbands stand-point. Equally well written and sweet.
Good read. Very romantic.
Really enjoyed this book. A very good sequel to The Notebook.
I enjoy all of this author's work and this was no exception.
Not as good as the notebook. The ending did make the book better, but I felt I wanted more from it.
A quick weekend reader about rekindling a long marriage. I enjoyed it.
A moving story about a man's one-year plan to reclaim his wife's love. Wonderful characters.
About a married couples struggle to keep things alive in their marraige.
If you read the notebook you'll enjoy this Sparks book too. A man realizing that the love of his life is falling out of love and he is desperate to get that back. Need a hanky for this one.
I read this novel more than six months ago, and its story still sticks in my heart. At first it may seem like sentimental pap, but I found it very meaningful and delightful. A good, easy read.
Enjoyable read. A bit slow. Romantic. Fairly specific account of specific relationship.
Romantic book with a great twist
Serious tearjerker!
A wonderful addition to Sparks' THE NOTEBOOK!
Not as good as the notebook but it is a spinoff of the original. This book revolves around Noah and Allies daughter Jane and her husband Wilson. Can their love be rekindled?
As always w/ Sparks, a great read.
The long awaited follow up to the notebook. wonderful story.
This was an incredible book and a very fast read! I love Sparks.
Excellent story; hope to see a movie version of the book soon! LOVE the ending, but won't spoil it for everyone.
Nice story. Realistic love. Worth the read.

Right up to Nicholas Sparks' usual. Very sensitive and a genually nice story. Really loved this one!!!
Nicholas Sparks has again demonstrated his love of North Carolina, as well as telling a very moving story of love. Oh but would the men in your life be as giving as that portrayed in The Wedding.
The follow up book to THE NOTEBOOK, As with all Sparks' books, it is wonderful.....
I am a romantic at heart and loved The Notebook and A Walk to Remember. This book does not disappoint either. Great book.
Classic Nicholas Sparks, all about love and self discovery and family. If you loved the Notebook, this is a great follow-on, as it carries out the same characters through different parts of their lives and descendants.
This book was a "good read," and I liked the surprise ending.
"The Wedding" is one of the best of Nicolas Sparks many novels. Not really a sequel to "The Notebook"; it definitely provides some clues to what happened to Allie and Noah. "The Wedding" is about Noah and Allie's daughter Jane and her husband Wilson and family as they prepare for a wedding. A touching story of love rekindled, after thirty years of marriage.
Loved it! Romantic without being cheesy, very clean and well written, an enjoyable read.
Loved this book. You will have to read The Notebook before you read this one, as it ties in and makes references to the other. Another great book by Nicholas Sparks!!!
I love Nicholas Sparks and I loved this book. I cried and laughed and all else in between. Definitely a chick book. A quick read and a warm heart by the end of your journey.
Part 2 to The Notebook. I really liked this book. It was a very sweet romantic book. My husband even read it and loved it!
Slow going at first but thoroughly enjoyable once you get into it. A good read.
Loved it, his books are always so touching.
What a wonderful story- especially for those of us who aren't newlyweds anymore! Definitely a great read- as long as you have a box of tissues handy!
this will make you cry and laugh all at once. Very good book, easy to read.Could not put it down....
Should I say Twist.....What a great ending!!!!
An awesome sequel to The Notebook. I loved it!
Very sweet book! I was pleasantly surprised at the end! Worth a read!
Quick easy read. Nicholas Sparks really, really knows how to tug at your heartstrings. Try not to cry when you read this book. I dare you!
I feel like Nicholas Sparks books are either a big hit or a big miss with me, either highly predictable and a monotonous sort of way or just heart-wrenchingly touching. I was thrilled that The Wedding falls into the later category. I got so choked up and actually cried at this stories climax. The only other book that made me shed actual tears was another Nicholas Sparks' book A Walk to Remember, a book that is infinitely better than it's motion picture adaptation. All in all, I'm glad that I read this book and highly recommend it to anyone else who's in the mood to feel sentimental.
Good companion to "The Notebook" although you don't have to read that one to enjoy this one.
This love story was just as wonderful as The Notebook. If you liked (loved) The Notebook, then this is a must read. The end was unexpected and beautiful.
Absolutely wonderful. Surprisingly, Tom Wopat is an excellent narrator and adds such zest to the story!
i loved it!

Definitely a great sequel to the Notebook. If you liked The Notebook, you will like this one as well.
really nice story
Great story of a couple married 30 yrs who have drifted apart. Can they pull their relationship back together before it's too late? They spend a lot of time preparing for their daughters wedding. Total surprise ending, that made me cry. (happy tears, not sad) Highly recommend.
I enjoyed this audio book very much.
Well what can I say - just another wonderful read from Nicholas Sparks! Easy to get into the story and as always, you fall in love with the characters. Highly recommend - read this in the car in two days!
Wonderful book. Sweet story of a true love. Surprise ending....Sparks knows how to tug the heart-strings.
What a warm loving story..Another great one from Sparks
A wonderful follow-up to The Notebook by Sparks. Couldn't put it down.
I liked the Notebook better than the Wedding. The Wedding was a good quick read though.
Not nearly as good as the Notebook - while this story is interesting and sweet, it is not as touching and memerable. References to the Notebook's Noah brought tears to my eyes, but the main story of The Wedding was just a sweet romance of a couple in their late fifties/early sixties, from a man's perspective. It's a very fast read. I gave it the low rating because I expected so much more.
This is the sequel to The Notebook and is classic Sparks. Emotional, engaging and entertaining.
wonderful love story. a man redeems himself after 30 years of marriage, making his wife fall in love with him all over again. the wedding was a true surprise.
Even though I have not read Sparks' "The Notebook," I was able to follow and enjoy this charming story about rekindling a lost love.
OMG, I loved this book just as much as the Notebook. It was just so sweet and pulled at your heartstrings some times. You will LOVE it if you were a big fan of the Notebook.
The follow up from The Notebook. It was wonderful! Very romantic.
Very good story...good sequel to the Notebook.
Enjoyed the book.
This is a follow up to The Notebook. As Wilson and Jane approach their 30th anniversary, Wilson looks for a way to win back the love of Jane. A good read!
A typical Nicholas Spark's novel.
A beautiful story about marriage.
This was just ok for me--- it's a nice story with a very surprising twist at the end, but it definitely didn't have the same "zing" as the notebook....
Great love stroy. Loved this one too.
This is the hard cover large print edition.
great book! Loved how it tied in with his previous book - The Notebook
I could tell where this book was going the whole time, but loved the read.
Good book, but not as great as the Notebook.
Nice sequel to the notebook - not a sad but explians what happens after with children and grandchildren
What a great twist...one of my favorites.
This book was a little slow going in the first few chapters, but then I got really into it. It is a nice story of second chances. I even got my husband to read it!
The follow-up to "The Notebook".
Another excellent book by this author. I love reading love stories from a man's point of view. If you want to put a spark back in your marriage this is a good book to read.
I fell in love with the characters in Spark's "The Notebook", so I really enjoyed getting more of them by reading this sweet follow-up piece. Very touching.
I really enjoyed listening to this book. Very refreshing. And, I love happy endings!
One of the best books I have read.. it is part two of the Notebook.
Not one of Nicholas Sparks best books but I really enjoyed it!
This is a good follow-up to "The Notebook", but read "The Notebook" first to get the full enjoyment.
A great sequel to The Notebook. Just has touching.
I love Nicholas Sparks...and this book is just one more reason why...very very good book
Good book. Sequel to the Notebook.
Follow-up to "The Notebook". I've enjoyed all the Nicholas Sparks books that I've read. This was no different. A marriage of thirty years is in jeopardy of falling apart - from lack of attention more than anything. Life has a way of obscuring what we hold most dear. If you're lucky you get a chance to make amends and show those you love and cherish just how you feel. A very "feel good" book.
this book tells of story of refinding the love you once had as the relationship changes as you get older. i liked the book but it wasnt one of my favorites. not one of the ones where u cant wait to see what happens next. a good read though but not up to his usually standard
I really enjoyed this book...had to pass it on to friends! Would read again!
There was something about the tone of this book that just did not set well with me. While I can sometimes get pulled into books that have a somber story line, this was one book that did not have that effect on me.
I have never been a huge Nicholas Sparks fan. I never found The Notebook to be quite as touching as most people found it to be, so I should have known his other books wouldn't live up to the hype that has come from his popularity. However, I have enjoyed a few of his books, but more often than not, I have found his books to be rather dry and/or dragged out. I was bored with this one very early on and it never picked up for me so I put the book down. I do not regret not having finished it.

Very real feeling and romantic. I didn't realize that it's a follow-up book to the Notebook, which I loved. The ending has a very surprising twist that made me cry. I read this at the time I was preparing my own wedding. Loved it!
I was really excited about this book because I wasn't aware that there was another book that followed The Notebook, which is one of my favorite's. I enjoyed this book also it was a nice follow up to the other story.
I've always enjoyed reading Nicholas Sparks books.
I loved this book! Recalling Noah and Allie's story from "The Notebook" this one focuses on one of their kids and her spouse.
I liked it, it was really good, all the way into it
I Loved The Notebook and this book was almost as good. A Keeper!
A very sweet story. If you like Nichols Sparks' other books you will love this one as well.
Another excellent book by Nicholas Sparks. I completely didn't see the ending coming, get out your tissue box. I highly reccomend this book.
If you read the Notebook, you HAVE to read this.
My wife has read this book and recommends it highly.
This is one of Nicholas Sparks best books. It really proves that there is love in the world. I would Highly recommend this book....as always...make sure you have tissue standing by.
Sequel to The Notebook!
I have read all of Nicholas Sparks books and really enjoy them...It is a good love story that will keep you turning the pages....
Get out the tissues! This is a GREAT love story -- it picks up where The Notebook left off.
Great romantic quick read!
good book
Read it in one day on the beaches of California!!!!
A powerfully moving tale of love lost, rediscovered, and renewed. Nicholas Sparks once again brings readers his unique insight into the only emotion that ultimately really matters.
continuation of the family in "The Notebook". This book was slow to catch me but the ending snatched all sorts of reason out of my hand and made me love it.
A super read. I read it in 2 days. I couldn't put it down.
This is a wonderful love story and probably will have a meaning to lots of us married for a long time.
The long awaited sequel to "The Notebook", "The Wedding" is another great romantic novel by Nicholas Sparks.
VERY good traditonal Sparks....have the tissues handy. i don't think the man can write a happy ending!
Great characters; fascinating story. Sparks does it again!
Another great LOVE Story by Sparks. The emotions that we feel with this family are great. The husband planning a wedding is so romantic.
Excellent book. This is a wonderful story of a wonderful romance.
This was another wonderful book by Nicholas Sparks about a man's desire to fix the damage he had unwittingly done during his marriage through neglect and passiveness. This book features characters from The Notebook and had me smiling through my tears at the end.
I love Nichholas Sparks! This is sort of a sequel to The Notebook. A wonderful story of falling in love all over again with your spouse.
In this powerfuly moving tale of love lost, rediscovered and renewed, Nicholas Sparks once again brings readers hnis unique insight into the only emotion that ultimately really matters.
Good story with a tie in to the notebook.
probably discribes most marriages funread
A story of an ordinary man who goes to extraordinalry lengths to win back the love of his life. The romance has gone out of his marriage and it's entirely his fault. Now he's faced with his daughter's upcoming marriage and the fact that his wife might leave him. He goes to extremes to retify his situation. It's romance to the fullest. A wonderful, quick read.
After 30 years of marriage, Wilson Lewis knows that the spark has gone out of his marriage. His inlaws are Noah and Allie Clahoun (from The Notebook) and have always set an example of a love affair. Wilson must take it upon himself to renew the sparks between he and Jane, and prove that he is still the romantic.
Typical of Sparks...
Great book! I love Nicholas Sparks! If you love The Notebook, then you'll love this also..
Nicholas Sparks is amazing! This book might leave you with tears...but it is well worth the extra tissues!
I'm not generally a Sparks fan but this one has a ring of truth and possibility (or is that just hope?) to it. At any rate it is a good read and restores faith in the ability of an older man to make changes in order to improve his family situation.
This book is a follow up to The Notebook. It is a very touching story of a man trying to rekindle the romance he and his wife once shared.
As usual...a great book by Nicholas Sparks. A great book for an afternoon by the fire.
The "sequel" to The Notebook. This one made me cry too.
I loved this book - such a love story.
A classic what a great read!
This is the sequel to "The Notebook, " and it's about Noah and Allie's daughter and son-in-law.
Excellent book. Anything written by this author is wonderful.
This book is awesome, I LOVED The Notebook, I thought it was better than the movie and this is just a great sequel to The Notebook. You don't have to read The Notebook in order to enjoy The Wedding but they are both just sooo good. Once I started The Notebook and The Wedding, I couldn't put either down. Filled me with lots of happy tears.
From Nicholas Sparks, America's favorite chronicler of love stories, comes the long-awaited follow-up to The Notebook - a story of an ordinary man who goes to extraordinary lengths to win back the love of his life.
THE WEDDING:
After thiry years, Wilson Lewis is forced to face a painful truth. His wife, Jane, has fallen out of love with him, and it is entirely his fault.
Despite the shining example of his in-laws, Noah and Allie Calhoun (originally recounted in The Notebook), and their fifty-year love affair, Wilson is unable to express his true feelings. He has spent too little time at home and too much at the office. Now his daughter is about to marry, and his wife is thinking about leaving him. But if Wilson is sure of anything, it's this: His love for Jane has grown over the years, and he will do anything he can to save their marriage. With the memories of Noah and Allie's inspiring life together as his guide, he vows to find a way to make his wife fall in love with him...all over again.

This is by far my favorite of all his books - I kind of guessed the end but not like it really did end. The tears were sure flowing - what an incredible mind this man has to write the stories he does!
I read this book before reading the 1st in the series, The Notebook. I was unable to tell this was a sequel, it was that good.

Wonderful read! I couldn't put it down!
I don't know if it's because I was going through some bad times in my own relationship or what, but this was one of the most amazing books I've read, and it helped me figure things out for my relationship. You'll love it if you're a hopeless romantic or not!

Nicholas Sparks books are always enjoyable.
This book has some of the same characters as The Notebook and it is equally as good, if not even better. Yet another book by Sparks that will make you smile and cry all in the same sitting!!
This was a WONDERFUL story! If you liked 'The Notebook,' you HAVE to read and you will LOVE this book!
Nicholas Sparks has done it again - another wonderful book by him. Story about Wilson Lewis- whose inlaws are Noah and Allie Calhoun (from another Sparks book - the Notebook)
Great read.
Great read.
I really enjoyed this book. It was a slightly different style than the usual Sparks book. I found myself drawn towards the characters and very pleased with the developments in the story. A true romance, not unlike life, with many an unexpected twist. A must read for any Sparks fan!
Definitely a winner. You must read The Notebook first to really appreciate this beautiful love story.
Good love story by a great author.
A delightful book from a man's perspective about marriage. After 30 years of marriage, he wants to make her dreams come true.
I couldn't put this book down! It touches the soul and tugs at your heart! A great "feel good" story!
One of the few Nicholas Sparks books that didn't make me depressed at the end. Very nice.
I think this was a great ending to the Notebook saga !
Beautiful - a story of recovering love.
After 30 years, Wilson Lewis, son-in-law to Noah and Allie (of The Notebook fame), is forced to admit that the romance has gone out of his marriage. Despite the shining example of his in-laws' 50-year love affair, Wilson himself is a man unable to express how he truly feels. With the distractions of his daughter's upcoming wedding he is forced to realize how close he is to losing his own wife Jane. But if Wilson is sure of anything, it's this: His love for his wife has only intensified over the years, and he wants nothing more than to make their marriage work. Now, with the memories of his in-laws' inspiring life together as his guide, Wilson pledges to find a way to make his wife fall in love with him...again.
Beautiful story of becoming a lover and giving to the beloved after awareness, discovery and commitment. Every CD is heartwarming and as the story builds so did my heart.
This is a sequel to the romantic tale of Allie and Noah Calhoon from THE NOTEBOOK.

Wilson Lewis comes to the sad realization one day that after thirty years of marriage his wife, Jane, has fallen out of love with him. Jane's father, Noah, (this book is the sequel to THE NOTEBOOK) has always had respect for Wilson and Noah tells him stories of how he kept Allie from falling out of love with him.
Wilson is an estate lawyer and has spent very little time at home over the years. He realizes that Jane fell out of love with him when he forgot their twenty-ninth wedding anniversary.
Jane was a stay-at-home mom and raised their three kids -- Anna, Joseph, and Leslie.
Anna comes home one day to announce that she is getting married. Because of Noah's health and since her fiancé is heading to college, they want to get married the next Saturday. Anna claims that she wants a small wedding at the courthouse, but her mom, of course, wants a big wedding, even though they only have eight days to put it together.
Saturday is Wilson and Jane's anniversary and Wilson wanted to do something really special this year so he took the week before and the week after their anniversary off from work. He hasn't taken that much time off in eight years!
With all the work to do with the wedding, Wilson has been making Jane dinner more often and trying to help out as much as he can. What will Wilson do to make his wife fall back in love with him, so that she doesn't leave him?
Coming from Nicholas Sparks, this book had a very high bar set for it. And this romantic love story went far beyond that! THE WEDDING is yet another wonderful romance from this amazing author!

I love Nicholas Sparks!
a great read
Very good book! Can't wait for more from Nicholas Sparks!
I loved this book. It was the first book I have read by Nicholas Sparks, and I immediately bought more. I had not seen nor read The Notebook, but this book made me want to. Definately worth every moment.
Read half of it. Got bored. The sequel to The Notebook? Yeah, I think not.
Sweet book, sweet story.
follow up to the notebook.
great book
The only reason I read this book is because it is the sequel to The Notebook, which I loved for its deep meaning to me. But this is probably the last Nicholas Sparks book I will read... He is a very good author as far as his use of place and time. It is his characters that are irritating. A person can be romantic without all the flabby feelings all over the page - at times his people are nauseatingly spineless wimps. Yuck! Not like real life at all! However, I do like the planning and timing he uses for the plot. D.
After thirty years of marriage, Wilson Lewis is forced to face a painful truth; the romance has gone out of his marriage. Now is daughter is about to marry and his wife Jane is thinking of leaving him. But if Wilson is sure of anything, it is this; his love for Jane has only gornw over and years and he will do everything he can to save their marriage.
I love all of Sparks books. They really make me feel.
This is the follow up to The Notebook.
The book was really good. The ending was very surprising. There was a part the seem like it drag out a little.
DIdi no tread this. Just passing it along...
