Claire's uncle would have forced her into a marriage with a disgusting lech, so she ran away to her old governess in far Yorkshire. Marcus inherited a viscountcy after his brother Greville's murder. Claire finds refuge as governess to Lucy, Marcus's niece and ward. Set during the regency when the Luddite movement was strong. There was nothing new about it, but it was an entertaining read, though I did start skimming toward the end.
