I call this a rainy day book. Drake decided to go for humor and I was surprised. He pretty much hit it. I wasn't greatly impressed with the last story but they all were entertaining and the reason I call it rainy day is that it's s few storys, none of them to long. I would recommend it.
Funny stories included in this collection. I always enjoy Drake's humor style in his other books. His fans will enjoy these stories as well.
This is not a typical David Drake book but is a collection of humorous stories aimed at the funnybone. Meet the goblin paratroopers, the fearless spacecops or the tough mercenary elves and humans, all in situations that involve the ludicrous.
Funny read, good short stories.
