Another Miss Silver mystery. I have almost found and read them all. I love Patricia Wentworth's Miss Silver. Most of her stories begin with the mystery and then they call in Miss Silver to investigate. This one turned the tables; Miss Silver was in from the beginning. I had just about figured out the murderer by the end, but was a little off base. Recommend
I can't get enough Patricia Wentworth, yet her non-Miss Silver books seem hard to find. She is a wonderful writer and I, in my opinion, find her mysteries are the equal of Agatha Christie's, if not better.
This book, as with so many British mysteries, once again deals with the problems of the British upper class... Or, as they say, "Where there's a will, there's a murder."
