I really like this book. I'm new to watercoloring, but I have a decent talent for it; this book is way more than I expected though. It covers different types of watercolor (tubes or pans), different types of paper and brushes (with examples), and even a few pages on starter kits. The book gives advice on how to acquire materials cheaply, which I personally appreciated. The rest of the chapters are grouped by techniques (wet, dry, mixing, sharp lines, etc), it has tons of pictures that are dissected so you can really tell what the artist did and how they did it along with the final product, and the book is extremely easy to read without being "dumbed down" or condescending. All around a solid choice for beginners.
