I wanted to read this book as the movie coming out soon (by the same title I believe) is based on this book. I can already tell compared to the previews that the movie is different from the book. I suggest reading the book first before seeing the movie. It's a rather short hour to two hour read but worth it as it is entertaining.
When 8 yr old Kirstie brings home a strange egg from the Scottish shore, her famliy never expects it to hatch. But the next day, Kirstie discovers a baby sea monster swimming in her bathtub!
fun book for children 8-12 who like dragons, monsters, etc... this is about a baby sea monster.
