Very interesting book, even more so for those who truly feel secluded or left alone in the world. This might help you take a look at yourself, and better help other people to understand why some people are so shy and quiet. Simple reading, not very much direct dialogue, simple design, and gives the reader a true sense of their surroundings and reasons in the story.

This is an odd book. It switches between several diffrent veiw points, Regaurdless I really enjoyed reading it. It's about a young girl who was taught from an early age that no place for her is really home through various violent acts from her tempermental father and neglectful mother. We fallow a path to not only her own self discovery but of those she keeps a close eye on.

This was a pretty good teen read. It has been a while since I read this book, but I do remember that I loved the emotion that was put into this book.

" A sensitively written novel about families, abuse, and the power of words from James Howe....Emotionally compelling to a heart-stopping conclusion."

The girl had no real memory of how she came to this place, except for the dream which felt so real it might have been a memory. The dream of having a family once and losing them.
