Have you ever wondered how toothpaste gets into the tube? How Washington's face gets on a dollar bill? Or how a major studio makes a movie? This book takes you to the places where you can see these things happen. Whether you're traveling for business or pleasure, a factory tour is a great way to spice up your trip.
Authors provide advice for business and family travelers, helpful itinerary planners, and all the practical information you'll need to visit nearly 300 factories and company museums across the U.S.A., from Boeing to Budweiser, Hallmark to Hershey's.

1994 edition of Watch It Made in the USA A Visitor's Guide to the Companies That Make Your Favorite Products has an index of states, and the companies that you can visit in each state. It is amazing and wonderful to look, see and find companies in the USA that make products you love. Personally, I have been to several, and they make outstanding field trips. This is a great guide to have handy while traveling. Due to the age of the edition, I suggest checking the Internet before you set out on one of these tours, to make sure the company is still offering tours, and is still where it is listed.
