The heroine knowingly leads her friends into a plague town and brings death to them...after this, she just looked childish to me. A wallbanger, couldn't finish.

This is a wonderful series! Second in the series. Warprize is the first. I loved it and can't wait to read the third in the trilogy
This second in a trilogy continues the wonderful story of the warlord Keir and his warprize, Xylara. The story is just as well written as the first, The topic of fighting the plague just wasn't nearly as riveting a subject as others would have been. Still, it has me captivated enough to dive into the third book!

Great writing.
Second book in the series of 3 and this one is just as good as the first one. I loved it.

Another excellant book by my new favorite author! Strong characters, good story development. Could stand alone, but would be better if read as part of the series.
I really enjoyed these 3 paranormal romances. Warprize, Warsworn and Warl;ord
Interesting, and the woman IS A DOCTOR! (she didn't also need to be a princess)
I also liked the other planet type tale, with new cultures to explore and Vaughan paints a beautiful picture. Get all 3 books, its really one story, and a worthy read.

2nd one I've read of Vaughn; she is now one of my favorite authors! The saga continues with love, heartbreak, and betrayal. Can't wait to start the next one in the series!!!!!
Enjoyable follow up of the first book. To fully understand the story and characters, I recommend reading the trilogy in order.
This is book 2 of a very good trilogy. Interesting characters with contrasting and complex cultural, religious and gender differences. Well thought out!

I LOVED this series....nomadic tribesmen with strange ways...romance, adventure. It was fun. The style is smooth and the characters make you love them. Although this book is my least of the three, this is a great series!
Second installment in the story of Keir and Lara. I can't wait for the third. Both this and Warprize were excellent.
Return to the land of the "Warprize"! Good sequel!

2nd in the series. A powerful healer, Lara has sworn an oath of loyalty to Keir the Warlord, and his people. Now the Warlord and his chosen mate face enemies within the tribe and danger lurks on every hand as they journey toward Keir's homeland.

The 2nd in the series & it was excellent. All 3 books are great ~ I recommend them all!
This is the weakest book in the trilogy, but I still absolutely love this series - definitely worth reading!
