This was enjoyable with elements of Norse mythology and a faerie character. I did not realize it was part of a series so felt a little cheated that much is intentionally unresolved. If you're looking to settle in with a couple of books this might be a good choice. I also felt like the action before the book was alluded to where it could have been explained in more detail. Pleasant, but not one for the keeper shelf.

She wasn't the strong female the other books had as heroines. And the hero was a little on the bland side. It was also very frustrating to find out in the end that the story was not done.
