I just reread this book and couldn't put it down. It has been a long time since I read it and I really enjoyed the story, the action, and the characters all over again. Tol the main character starts out as a boy in this book and grows into a man by the end of the series, his life is incredible but also very believable and he is a hero everyone should love. His enemies are believably evil and all the characters are interesting and add to the story line. This is a favorite series of mine. Definately an underdog who makes good. The rest of the series takes the story further and for me I couldn't stop reading until I finished the third book.
