This is book 2 of this time-traveling series. Another great installment. Haley is a terrific heroine from Boston transported to 1646 Scotland. MacColla is a rugged Highlander warring with a neighboring clan who are set on totally eradicating his family tree. This book had me reading til 1 am because I just couldn't put it down. EXCELLENT.

Good addition to her Highland series. I genuinely liked both main characters and the author avoided a standard I have come to loathe: one character letting the other go because its for the best. Alisdair made up his mind he loved Haley and that was it. Very nice happily ever after!

highlanders are great!
Pretty good book, not as good as Master of the Highlands, but well worth the read.
