Overall, an enjoyable romance, with the most compelling element being that we finally learn what happened to Cullen all the years he's separated from his brothers. It's heartbreaking. Despite his hardness, you can certainly feel his longing for a name, a family, and a place in the world. After all the anticipation to the series conclusion, the bad guys didn't seem as vile as before, and the brothers' reunion came up short in drama and emotion. Still, I was happy that Cullen got his clan back along with a lovely partner in Derryth. 3.5 stars.
