If you get the chance to read Elizabeth Vaughan's Warprize Trilogy you are in for a real treat. Warprize, which is book one in the trilogy introduces you to Lara, Master Healer and Daughter of the Kingdom of Xy and Keir, Warlord of the Plains, two people from worlds as different as night and day who will grow to know and love each other. Book 2 Warworn, follows their adventures through a series of lifethreatening experiences. Warlord the final book ( I really hope it is not) continues to narate their journey of challenges as their love continues to mature and grow stronger. You also get a chance to meet a host of other characters who seem so real that you will both laugh with them and share their sorrows as though they were among your circle of dearest friends. Romance, adventure, humor and even a little magic, who could ask for anything more? I loved these books. Through the resources of Paperback Swap I was able to obtain all three volumes. I highly recommend 5 stars for each book. I plan to share mine in the future but right now I am really having a hard time giving them up!

This whole trilogy was great. I would advise to have all 3 and read them one after the other.

What a beautiful story!!!!!!! The trilogy is just awesome!
I originally picked up the series( 3 books in all ) thinking it was fluffy chick lit. I was wrong. The author has put alot of time into studying different cultures, mythologies and religions. The outcome is a wonderful story with intrigue, misunderstandings (cultural, religious and gender )and multiple heroes. I really liked the series and hope she , the author, developes more of the other characters!!
Good ending to trilogy-enjoyed it more than 2nd in series. Must definately read the lst and 2nd before this to follow characters.
Warprize was a great and riveting story. Warsworn had moments of greatness, but does help clarify some of Warlord's events. Vaughan regained her enthralling story telling in Warlord. Warlord was a thoroughly enjoyable story that had its own theme while satisfactorily tying up all the threads/relationships of the first two books.
This trilogy is a must read! An interesting planet and culture is developed with a woman Dr. trying to do what's right and fit in. The is the last of the 3 books, read in order! Very yummy!
Every once in a while you read a book that stays in your thoughts long after you've turned the last page, this is how I would describe the Warprize Trilogy. A must read, you will not be disappointed.
*sigh* Oh, I love that moment when, after a wonderful story, you turn the last page happy, satisfied and filled, knowing there really is a happily ever after, even if it is in our dreams. "Warlord" finishes a trilogy that is the stuff bedtime stories are made of - a beautiful princess, a strong honorable prince (Warlord in this instance) who fight for their dreams, perils that threaten to destroy good, evil that is sure to overcome. *another sigh* Oh, that life were so exciting and ended so well!
